A group of like-minded organisations have partnered to accelerate the uptake of digital technologies and enable more collaborative innovation across New Zealand’s regions and primary industries.

The Primary Industries and Regional Innovation Collaborative (PIRIC), was announced at Just Transition Summit in Taranaki on Friday 10 May. Founding members are drawn from across the technology, innovation and primary sectors including Microsoft, The Collaborative Studio, Massey University, Kordia, The Factory and Scion.

PIRIC’s vision is to drive the digital transformation of New Zealand’s primary industries, support sustainable and inclusive social and economic growth in regional New Zealand, and improve protection of the environment.
