Biowaste survey underway

The Centre for Integrated Biowaste Research (CIBR) is conducting a study on consumer preferences for hand-wash soap.

A survey is now open until 13 April for members of the public to provide input in the study results.

Scion economist and member of the study team Dr Richard Yao says, “we need as many people as possible to complete the survey, I encourage everyone to do it and share with their friends and family”.

Results from the survey will help to provide an understanding of the factors that influence consumers’ decisions. Armed with this knowledge, CIBR can begin identifying sustainable solutions that reduce the negative effects handwash products can have on the environment and human health.

Anyone who is 18 or older and has spent 2 years or more in New Zealand, is eligible to take part. It takes around 20 minutes and everyone who completes it can go into a draw to win one of five $100 pre-paid Visa cards (Prezzy cards).  Survey closes 13 April 2017.
