We take immense pride in celebrating the outstanding achievements of Dr Brian Richardson, who recently received the prestigious Minister's Biosecurity Award. Brian’s decades of dedicated research and work have played a pivotal role in eradicating invasive insects, safeguarding New Zealand's forestry, and strengthening our export sectors.

Collaboration for the win

In the spirit of collaboration, we highlight how Scion is hosting biotech start-up Jooules as their research team looks to explore the future of food. Also, read about Scion’s work with NASA as we seek to learn more about how water flows through forests as well as investigate wildfire and drought risks from space. It’s research that’s truly pushing the boundaries of research to new heights.
