Scion collates a quarterly log price outlook by prompting a range of people to share their personal views on the markets. The majority of participants are either forest owners, managers, wood processors, traders, consultants or people in forestry related industries abroad. Participation is free and strictly confidential. In return for completing the short 3-5 minute online poll, all participants receive a copy of the log price outlook one month before the outlook becomes publicly available.

All data collected, including the identity of participants, are treated as highly confidential.
